The 3rd graders designed and built solar collectors. They worked! 

Life on Mars

6th graders built a model base that will allow humans to live on Mars. They also built a model of a tool that will be used for experiments on Mars. 

What keeps apples from turning brown?

Second grade conducted an experiment today to see what will keep apples from turning brown.... lemon juice!

How far will it fly?

The 4th graders designed and built gliders. We then tested them and got an average time and distance.

First grade fall leaves

We conducted an experiment in the first grade to see what color our leaves will turn this fall. We will have brown, yellow, orange and red leaves! 

Pumpkins and toothpicks

The second graders had to create towers using candy pumpkins and toothpicks. 

Orange juice matter

5th grade made a carbonated orange drink today. Our liquid was orange juice, solid was baking soda, and the gas was the bubbles on top (carbonation).
