We had a tasty challenge with the first graders today. The students used their m and m's to find as many ways possible to make 12. Then they created shapes out of only 12 m and m's. 

Constellations

The students chose a constellation to create using marsh mellows and toothpicks. Can you recognize their creations?! 

The power of the Sun!

We drew with suncreen on construction paper, and then left the papers outside in the sun. The part of the paper with sunscreen on it didn't fade!
